Once you place an order on UNIQUESA, a series of careful steps are taken to ensure your item is prepared for safe transit. The estimated delivery timeline for your order begins after the order has been processed and shipped by the seller.
- Order Confirmation: Your order will be confirmed upon successful payment. You will receive an email and/or SMS notification detailing your order.
- Standard Processing Time: Sellers typically require 1-3 business days to process, package, and hand over your item to the courier. This timeframe excludes weekends and public holidays.
- Direct UNIQUESA Items: Items sold directly by our team have an estimated delivery time of 3-7 business days after processing.
- Auction & Verified Submissions: For items purchased through auction or those submitted for verification, the processing time may be longer (7-11 business days) to allow for a thorough in-house authentication and secure packaging process.
Please note that all delivery timelines are estimates and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
2. Shipping Costs
Due to the unique and varied nature of the items on our platform, shipping costs are calculated based on the item's size, weight, and fragility.
- Standard Fee: For small, standard-sized items like books or coins, the shipping cost may be as low as ₹99.
- Variable Fee: For larger or heavier items, such as a custom-made sculpture or a piece of furniture, the shipping cost will be calculated at checkout and could be in the hundreds or even thousands of rupees.
The estimated shipping cost will be clearly displayed to you at checkout. For items with a high shipping cost, or for custom orders, a member of our team may contact you directly to confirm the shipping cost before the order is finalized.
Our sellers work with trusted courier partners to ensure safe delivery. We primarily partner with **India Post**, but may use other reliable services based on the item and destination.
3. Tracking Your Order
We will keep you informed every step of the way. Once your order is dispatched by the seller, you will receive an email and/or SMS notification with a tracking number and a link to track your package's journey.
- You can use the provided tracking number to check the live status of your shipment on the courier partner's website.
- If a package is marked as "Delivered" but you have not received it, please contact the seller immediately. We recommend you also check with family members or neighbors, or in a safe place near your delivery location.
4. Navigating Delivery Challenges
While we strive for timely deliveries, factors beyond our control may cause unavoidable delays. Your patience and understanding in these situations are greatly appreciated.
- Geographical Challenges: Please be aware that shipping times for orders across India—especially between rural and remote regions, such as from a village in Arunachal Pradesh to a location in Ladakh—may take longer due to logistical challenges and vast distances.
- Public Holidays & Festivals: Deliveries may be delayed during public holidays, regional festivals, or peak seasons due to increased courier volumes.
- Natural Calamities: Unavoidable natural events such as severe storms, floods, earthquakes, or other "Acts of God" may impact delivery timelines.
- Political & Social Events: Unforeseen events like regional strikes, protests, or curfews may cause service interruptions.
- Customs & Border Checks: While uncommon for domestic shipping, inter-state regulatory checks can occasionally lead to minor delays.
- Logistics Network Limitations: Rural or hard-to-reach areas with limited courier network coverage may have longer delivery times.
- Seller-specific Delays: In rare cases, a seller may experience unexpected delays. You will be notified if this occurs.
- Unboxing & Packaging Videos: To ensure a smooth process for all parties, we require sellers to record a video of the packaging process, and we highly recommend that buyers do the same during unboxing. This provides a crucial record for resolving any potential disputes.
